A logo is born. Action over perfection!

Any business needs a form of identity. There is a lot that goes into creating a logo. Thousands of dollars and weeks on end can be spent devoted to this task. It is that important and I understand that. Sometimes though, action over perfection prevails. I've been through the evolution of logo changes in the past. You start with something that seems really great in the beginning only to evolve in business and realize you need something new. We're going to roll with this one and adapt over time if needed.

Folks can read this as the letters, b-a-c, they could read it 40 bac, and a few other variations. I get it. We'd like you to read it as Back 40. There's a lot that goes into that name, but we will save that for a later date. The idea behind having the logo predominately the number "40" is so it's readable at a distance and very recognizable. I mean, what other business do you know that has a big ole 40 in the logo? I'm sure some of you smarties will find one and send to me. That's okay, I've got broad shoulders. A good friend of mine, a cartoonist by trade, said that the outline is the most important thing. Can you recognize it at a glance is what I gathered from that. Well, the number 40 is just that. YOu know, when we're big time, it'll be like the golden arches, or the swoosh, or the apple, that sorta thing. For now, this is what you get. Carry on friends.
