What is the BAC 40?

BAC 40 isn’t just a name for our lawn care business; it’s a symbol of our journey through life, faith, and second chances. For us, the concept of the BAC 40 resonates deeply with our personal stories as born-again Christians who found renewed purpose later in life.

Growing up, faith was a part of my life, thanks to my grandmother who introduced me to Christ. However, like many, I took a detour, making mistakes and walking a path that led me away from the Lord. It wasn’t until three and a half years ago that I turned my life around, rekindling my relationship with God. My co-founder’s story mirrors mine, finding his faith about five years ago at the age of 40. For both of us, our 40s became a turning point, a chance to start anew, and to live out our faith with renewed purpose.

The Significance of the BAC 40

The term "BAC 40" is rooted in agricultural history, referring to the back 40 acres of land on a farm. It’s a place that’s often less cultivated, more rugged, and requires more attention. But when cared for, it holds great potential. For us, the BAC 40 symbolizes the second half of life—a time when, despite the rough terrain of past mistakes, new growth and abundant life are possible through faith.

We’ve talked often about how this idea aligns with our personal experiences. It’s no coincidence that this concept has taken hold in our hearts, guiding not just our business, but our entire approach to life. The BAC 40 is where we believe the promises of God begin to manifest, where blessings start to overflow, and where life’s true beauty is revealed.

Our Mission: More Than Just Lawn Care

While we are passionate about providing top-notch lawn care services, our mission extends beyond mowing lawns and trimming hedges. We see our business as a vehicle for reaching others, sharing our stories, and living out the teachings of Colossians 3:23-24: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters."
